Invoking The Sacred - Events and worldwide course Myths and Legends have started to leave the world. Welcome - This site invites you to voyage. You can attend our events which celebrate the Eight Great Festivals and share how to invoke Gods and Goddesses. And/or you can follow the unique and beautiful spiritual sharing of our worldwide distance-learning course. We teach about these sacred empowering visionary festivals of the turning wheel of the year. We share an invocation journey to the gods and goddess of Paganism and Vajrayana Buddhism. Your journey to Goddess and God will quite probably be tied to the story of your own life. It may well be central to your present magical quest or the direction of your present journey of growth. As you move into closer contact with God and Goddess, you will be empowered to draw the sword from the stone. You may ask for and receive your own magical weapons and gifts. So, now it is time for you to journey to and become Goddess or God. How do you achieve this? You can enroll on our worldwide web-based course. And/or you can enroll on either of our series of Celebrations of the Eight Celtic Festivals which are held in Hebden Bridge, a scenic historic market town style in the Yorkshire Pennines famed for its arts and alternative life. Our web-based course: You join our web-based course. As the first step on the path, we offer you unique spiritual support in finding your own path at this point in your life. Which path do you take up the mountain? Which path do you take down the cave? Which path calls you …… to the Faces of the Divine? What is happening in your life? What is the story of your life? Create a metaphor for your life. Which Goddess and God can you claim and pray to and become? Next, we share with you the many ways that we have developed, studied and explored, of contacting and becoming God or Goddess. These methods include the ancient tantric ways of becoming Goddess or God. Different ways of working between the worlds. Thirdly, we support you in entering the mysteries and rituals of the journey through the Great Celtic Festivals:
Through this deeply ancient year-cycle, you penetrate beyond the veils and experience the changing faces of God and Goddess, and you gain connection to the land and the stars through the turning of the Wheel of the Year. At what point you join the cycle will depend on the point when you enroll. As you identify your immediate and personal quest to the divine, as well as your individual connection to the larger Festival cycle, we then support you to develop ritual and visionary connection with the Goddesses and Gods who will bring you the protection, blessing, power, beauty, healing, strength, vision and divine qualities like compassion or understanding that, as a man or a woman, you individually seek: you meet the Faces of the Divine. What are the methods we teach? The central methods of contacting and becoming Goddess or God from the pagan wisdom tradition are: invocation and evocation, ritual and vision-work; from shamanism they are possession, journeying and trance; and from Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism they are puja and Highest Yoga Tantra. You compare and learn from these ancient traditions. We teach methods of creation of sacred space: casting a circle, building it by elements, vision and psychism; building an altar; correspondences such as colours, elements, herbs, mantra, ritual tools and music. We share the body-mind consciousness creation of deity: chackras, body-energies, Pure Lands, the ‘winds and drops’ of Tibetan Buddhism. We support all this by counselling and sharing your diary with us. You may wish to develop supported daily practice. This is not for everyone, but for those who are fed by it we share daily practices specific to the deity path you walk and we support your spiritual journal. How do you communicate with Goddess or God? How do you talk to Her or Him. We share how you can do this in ritual or visualization. There are other ways, for example, you can write letters – then wait for the reply. You can write a poem. You can tell the story of the God or Goddess. For example how would you tell the story of Persephone form the point of view of Demeter? Of Pluto? Of Persephone herself? Of the Earth bereft of Demeter? And of course, you can become God or Goddess. Through ritual and visualization and body-energetics, you can become Herne or Hecate, Avalokiteshvara or Vajrayogini, and then you can see the world around you as that Goddess or God views it, and gain enlightenment and great power and vision thereby. You can start a dream diary. Please note that this course will support you if you work singly, in partnership or in a group, and whether or not you belong to other courses or organisations.
