Welcome to the Astrology and Tantra course prospectus.
 Whether you work solo, with a partner or in a group, and whether you choose to work with the energies of the planets shamanically or as deities or not, I pride myself in ensuring that the ideals of people following my courses are fully met. I leave no stone unturned in ensuring the fullest possible satisfaction of people following my courses.
The three levels of the Western Astrology course are uniquely helpful, supportive and thorough:
Level 1 leaves no stone unturned in taking you through the basics of Natal Chart interpretation.
Level 2 focuses uniquely powerfully on chart shapes: the quick key to penetrating at-a-glance Natal Chart interpretation.
Level 3 fully supports you through the prediction repertoire. |
Don’t know your exact time of birth?
People thinking of enrolling on astrology courses are often worried because they do not know their time of birth exactly. Don’t despair! My mother even got the day wrong! She said I was born one day earlier than I was: so that took sorting out! This was because she was living rough in a foreign country and I was a Displaced Person with no nationality for a time. One Russian course attender of mine, also, who was born in an orphanage, did not know the exact day, even, but using the life log, we sorted it out.
If you don’t know your exact time of birth, basically, we draw up a ‘Life Log’: list of life events, as the Level 1 course progresses, then, at no extra cost, we see which birth time accurately predicts the events to occur at the date they did, then discard the other times of birth we tried.
This process is called Rectification, and I use an exceptionally full range of predictive indicators from western and Vedic Astrology to assist you.
This way of finding your birth time is enjoyable, creative and interesting, and you learn a lot of astrology on the way - and the meaning of your life then becomes crystal clear and empowers you to help others! |
 There is great benefit to you if you study the Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 courses (which are Western astrology) and then go on to my Foundation Hindu Astrology Module.
I say this because the Western astrology you study gives you vast insight into depth psychology and transformational possibilities, but if you add to this the clear, crisp insights Hindu astrology gives you on the fated and mundane levels, the insights you quickly get will take your breath away!!!
This combination is guaranteed to give you clear insight into the issues of your parenting, where your strengths truly lie, what will your experiences with children be, will you be rich or poor, subject to loss or gain – and at what times. Above all it will enable you to define and understand your true relationship with the divine. See the Foundation Course details on the Level 4 Course page. N.B. If you are very new to astrology, don’t try and combine the two in this way, or it will confuse you. |
I also pride myself in going in for unlimited discussion about any issues or questions course attenders may want to raise around the modules as they progress. Both my course attenders and I find this deeply satisfying and a creative way to learn. Also, the modules can be tackled in any order to suit the learner, with easy branching off to any modules from any of the other courses (and back again) as your learning quest requires. |
Don’t know which astrology computer software is best?
People thinking of enrolling on astrology courses are often worried because they don’t know which astrology computer program to use. I can help whatever your set-up. For example, if you have Solar Fire, we could develop your handling skills of Solar Fire, as we go through the course. But also, as with all course attenders, I always email and post you all the charts you need from other computer programmes (western and Vedic) as well. I particularly use Megastar to teach chart aspect shapes and Age Progressions. I use Astrocalc for its wonderfully clear natal charts. I use Shri Jyoti Star for Vedic astrology. You get all of these at no extra cost for all three focus individuals. My courses are based on three focus charts: Yours, mine and a third person who is well-known to you (preferably with a known time of birth). As you need them, you also get transit lists, dasa and bhukti lists and bi-wheel charts, for example: Progressed the natal, or synastry: the chart of another person to your natal. We go through all this in a direction and at a speed entirely to suit yourself. |

Section 1: Description of the Courses
There are six wonderful Tantra and Astrology teaching courses:
Level 1: Introductory Astrology and Tantra teaching course:
This Level provides depth understanding of planets, signs, houses and aspects in the interpretation of western astrology’s astrological natal chart.
Level 2: The Adept's Astrology and Tantra teaching course:
This level teaches my very special and powerful at-a-glance interpretation of western astrology’s astrological natal chart using chart shapes.
Level 3: The Predictive Astrology and Tantra teaching course:
This level teaches a varied, powerful and accurate range of predictive techniques.
We follow with two unique courses offering the Fusion of western and Vedic (or Hindu) Astrology:
4. The Foundation Vedic Astrology Course – This quite unrivalled course teaches you how to assess the qualities, strengths and weaknesses of each planet in your chart in a powerful and concrete way that will quite simply leave you astounded. In addition, I teach a very special set of symbols for each degree of the Vedic sidereal Zodiac and you learn how the Nakshatras or Lunar Mansions offer you breathtakingly valid supplementation to the solar zodiac.
5. The Tantric Vedic Astrology Course – Another unrivalled course: we approach the energies of each of the planets as gods. They are faces of the divine. They work within our lives sometimes in an ineluctably fated way; sometimes in a way we can mediate.
6: Star Mates Astrology (synastry course). We conclude with a unique, special and powerful synastry course utilizing the best of western and Vedic astrology: a combination of depth psychology and concrete fatedness.
These six courses have the additional unique special focus of exploring the tantric dimensions of astrology: the way in which the planets and the zodiacal signs embody faces of the divine: gods and goddesses who can be contacted to enable us to more powerfully become who we were born to be. Tantra offers deeper ways of finding the levels of meaning of the events which astrology predicts.
Section 2: Organization of the Course
Organization: The course is provided as very-affordable, pay-as-you-go modules. It ranges from the simple Beginners Course (Level 1) to highly advanced levels. The module contents and course material you are provided with is carefully personalized and adapted by on-going negotiation to your individual ability or attainment level, so you learn entirely at your own pace.
Communication: The course is distance learning by email or post. It can include telephone conversation appointments, face-to-face contact and experiential group sessions.
Focus: The focus of the entire course is the natal charts (and predictive astrology) of three people:
Yourself
Someone you feel you know well
Myself
Assessment: Assessment is a shared matter between the teacher and the student. At the completion of each piece of work, the student makes a statement of how easy or difficult he or she found the module, and what strengths or weaknesses he feels it has, and how it could be extended. As teacher, I offer a detailed and considered written opinion on each piece of work.
Chart Provision: If you haven't got your own astrological computer programme, I provide all the charts you will need, very inexpensively, by post.
Email or Post: The course material that I provide is extensive. It is free if emailed, but otherwise a small charge is made to cover costs of paper, printing and postage.
Section 3: Myself as Tutor
The Tutor: I am expert in teaching the fundamentals of astrology, from simple basics to immense detail. My specialities encompass:
- Combining eastern and western astrological traditional skills: I offer Hindu astrology’s clear declaration of fated situations combined with its deeply-transformative spiritual possibilities, together with modern western astrology’s deep psychological perspectives of meaning. For example, I combine the exact definitions offered by the Hindu Rashi chart and Vimsottari predictive periods, with a wonderful and powerful ‘chart shapes’ method in western astrology that facilitates your ‘at a glance’ reading of the chart.
- I teaching the ritual and meditation methods whereby we can experience the reality behind surface events. I have conducted a special study of the ways in which Hindu, Buddhist, Pagan and Shamanic techniques access the visionary realms: their procedures and ethics, and the ways these spiritualities are related to astrology and can contribute to each other.
- Parent issues: My central speciality is the identification of individual life purpose in the context of the influence on us of our parents and the generations of our family. My speciality is ways of mapping these parent issues inevitably operating in our lives, of establishing how we are to understand or, even, sometimes, cope with the parenting we have received.
- The Astrology of Death.
Section 4: Comparison/Appreciation of western and Vedic Astrology
 Hindu (or Vedic) astrology is penetratingly and wonderfully accurate in defining the events and circumstances of your life, and in predicting the exact time periods events will manifest. It is definitely better than Western astrology in doing this, in that it is crisp and definitive. This exact delineation shows unequivocally what your fate or karma will be during this life in the world. This precise fate exists in order to give you the opportunity to make needed growth, for example through devotion to God, good works or the attainment of spiritual knowledge: through the right handling of your strengths and weaknesses (which Hindu astrology so accurately defines). The fated events of this life are thus the arena for your spiritual development.
Western astrology, by contrast, at its best, offers the opportunity for most profound psychological analysis. At its best it can be quite amazingly skilful at this, leading to personal insight, individuation and transformative understanding. As this psychological growth occurs, the energies in your life can manifest more and more positively rather than negatively. But western astrology is very weak on clearly defining certain key irreducible certainties.
I believe that Hindu astrology is far better at defining our fate: some of which we can alter; some of which we can not alter. However, western astrology is far better at defining our psyche. But western astrology probably quite seriously over-estimates our ability to 'transcend' our fate. There is thus at the present time, a dialogue between 'fated events' and 'psychologising' that ought to be going on between the two traditions. At its worst, western astrology goes in for ungrounded New Age happy talk - but when the two traditions are taken together, then the truest understanding of self occurs, and the clearest path to oneness with the Divine is achieved. |

Please note that this is a Foundation Vedic Astrology course. It is thorough, comprehensive and creative – and very well-organized and presented. It imparts very considerable spiritual awareness. It has the following five strengths: |
- It is the ideal preparation for contacting the planets of Vedic astrology as gods in my Tantric Vedic Astrology Course.
- It is also ideal preparation for my Star Mates (synastry) astrology course, where the special dimensions of Vedic astrology offer penetrating understanding into the forces at play in a relationship, additional to what western astrological analysis of the charts concerned offers.
- It can be studied alongside my western astrology courses (Levels 1, 2 and 3), with very great additional astrological and spiritual advantage (unless you are new to western astrology, in which case combined learning would be confusing).
- It can be studied as an add-on to the other tantric spirituality courses that I teach. As with all my courses, you can side track into another module, then rejoin your course, as your learning quest requires.
- It is an ideal foundation before embarking upon a more extensive Vedic Astrology course.
However, please note that my foundation Vedic Astrology course does not cover the immense and exhaustive divine scope of all Vedic Astrology.
