Don’t know your exact time of birth?

People thinking of enrolling on astrology courses are often worried because they do not know their time of birth exactly. Don’t despair! My mother even got the day wrong! She said I was born one day earlier than I was: so that took sorting out! This was because she was living rough in a foreign country and I was a Displaced Person with no nationality for a time. One Russian course attender of mine, also, who was born in an orphanage, did not know the exact day, even, but using the life log, we sorted it out.

If you don’t know your exact time of birth, basically, we draw up a ‘Life Log’: list of life events, as the Level 1 course progresses, then, at no extra cost, we see which birth time accurately predicts the events to occur at the date they did, then discard the other times of birth we tried.
This process is called Rectification, and I use an exceptionally full range of predictive indicators from western and Vedic Astrology to assist you.

This way of finding your birth time is enjoyable, creative and interesting, and you learn a lot of astrology on the way - and the meaning of your life then becomes crystal clear and empowers you to help others!

Optionally, there is great benefit to you if you study the Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 courses (which are Western astrology) alongside my Foundation Hindu Astrology Module.

I say this because the Western astrology you study gives you vast insight into depth psychology and transformational possibilities, but if you add to this the clear, crisp insights Hindu astrology gives you on the fated and mundane levels, the insights you quickly get will take your breath away!!!

This combination is guaranteed to give you clear insight into the issues of your parenting, where your strengths truly lie, what will your experiences with children be, will you be rich or poor, subject to loss or gain – and at what times. Above all it will enable you to define and understand your true relationship with the divine. See the Foundation Course details on the Level 4 Course page. N.B. If you are very new to astrology, don’t try and combine the two in this way, or it will confuse you.

I also pride myself in going in for unlimited discussion about any issues or questions course attenders may want to raise around the modules as they progress. Both my course attenders and I find this deeply satisfying and a creative way to learn. Also, the modules can be tackled in any order to suit the learner, with easy branching off to any modules from any of the other courses (and back again) as your learning quest requires.

Don’t know which astrology computer software is best?

People thinking of enrolling on astrology courses are often worried because they don’t know which astrology computer program to use. I can help whatever your set-up. For example, if you have Solar Fire, we could develop your handling skills of Solar Fire, as we go through the course. But also, as with all course attenders, I always email and post you all the charts you need from other computer programmes (western and Vedic) as well. I particularly use Megastar to teach chart aspect shapes and Age Progressions. I use Astrocalc for its wonderfully clear natal charts. I use Shri Jyoti Star for Vedic astrology. You get all of these at no extra cost for all three focus individuals. My courses are based on three focus charts: Yours, mine and a third person who is well-known to you (preferably with a known time of birth). As you need them, you also get transit lists, dasa and bhukti lists and bi-wheel charts, for example: Progressed the natal, or synastry: the chart of another person to your natal. We go through all this in a direction and at a speed entirely to suit yourself.

Level 3 Modules

There are 19 modules to the Level 3 course on Prediction.

First, you construct a log of your life events, year by year from birth, then you note alongside these the major transits and progressions that occur in each year, and you tie these in to your life events.

We then test out our skills in predictive astrology by testing all the predictive methods against this log. And, if you wish, we also can test out our skills by applying these transits and progressions to the three focus charts and the generational charts that we studied in Level 2, at no extra charge.

When we have done this groundwork, we examine tantric approaches to the energies of these moments in our lives, as predicted by astrology, such as 'surrender, or 'remedies' or various methods of transforming the future.

The Level 3 modules are as follows:

1. Life Log: You construct a 'year by year' log of your life events. You tie in the various transits, life-cycles and progressions. We evaluate their predictive success and accuracy.

Modules 2 - 4 cover Astrological Progressions

We examine the different systems of secondary and tertiary progressions: what are they?

2. Secondary (Day for a Year) Progressions

3. Tertiary Progressions (Day for a Lunar Month)

Here is an example of a day-for-a-lunar month chart – a powerful method of predictive micro-timing:

4. The Huber Age Point and Age Progressions

Here is an excerpt of the aspects made by the Age Point as it progresses round the chart. The AP takes 72 to years to progress anti-clockwise round the chart, making aspects to the natal planets as it does so. I teach about this valuable predictive method and we critique the approach and contextualize it with other methods from western and Vedic astrology. The method is very time of birth sensitive:

Modules 5 - 11 cover Transits:

We look at Transits. What are they? We examine your life log, to analyze the predictive meaning and accuracy of the transiting planets. Here is a list of transits made over one month, followed by a graph of transits experienced over a year from another person. Transits are a time-honoured predictive method, robust enough to still be usable when time of birth is a bit unclear:

We study how to interpret the energy of each transiting planet, and what spiritual understanding we can bring to it. We consider the different spiritual approaches ranging from ‘surrender’ to ‘psychological transformation’ to magic:

I will tell you what your Hindu astrology is for the current period and give you a basic explanation of the reasons for the conclusions I have come to. We compare Vedic and western prediction.

INFO ABOUT THE LEVEL 3 COURSE

Definition: The Level 3 Course is the expert course in predictive methods.
Aims: The aim of Level 3 is to provide an expert repertoire of the techniques of astrological prediction. This technical exercise is developed to discover the energies of the planets as gods manifesting in our lives – in other words, to use astrology as a gateway to union with the divine.

This course is not at all just for the intending Astrologer. Tantric astrology is a tremendously powerful tool for your own personal self-development, empowerment and management of your life.

Focus: The sole focus of Level 3 is the natal charts of three people:

Yourself
Someone you feel you know well
Myself

Method: In Level 3, you achieve expertise with reference to the three focus charts, by using:

(a) the extensive course material which I provide
(b) your own astrological reading
(c) your own astrological research and experience (if any)

(d) rituals and meditation: Deity-tantra, vision-work, journeying. You can do these exercises alone or with friends or other course members. You maintain a written or taped record of these experiences, submitting them with your other course material.
